Welcome to the Institute of Aviation!
Our nearly 300 Bachelor of Science in Aviation Human Factors degree students flying at Willard Airport are now in their newly remodeled building and flying a new fleet of orange, blue and white Piper Aircraft. Our FAA Aviation Maintenance Diamond Award winning Aircraft Maintenance Department cares for the fleet.
The Aviation Human Factors Division continues to offer an excellent, nationally recognized research program. These expert aviation human factors faculty teach the human factors courses in aviation for our majors. We are now enrolling graduate students in our Master of Science in Human Factors degree. Faculty have ongoing research with a number of entities including NASA and the Federal Aviation Administration.
Willard Airport offers 10 commercial flights a day for university and business travelers. With an FAA Tower, this small but bustling commercial airport provides an excellent training environment helping to prepare students for their future careers.
Looking Forward to the Future!
